Why do we fundraise?
We fundraise to keep registration fees affordable and to offset costs of running a successful program.
How do we fundraise?
We have various fundraisers we will use: Jeep Ticket Raffle, Valentine's Dance, and others which might differ from year to year. We also raise funds for the program through sponsorships.
Why do we start fundraising so early?
In order to effectively manage our budgetary needs we need to have adequate funds. We compete with many sports in a small area to raise the funds needed. Therefore, fundraisers will typically begin in November and run throughout our season.
Can I use the fundraisers to offset team dues?
YES! With specifics to our Jeep Raffle fundraiser, after players raise a predetermined amount for the team, the rest will be a dollar for dollar match that can be applied to their team dues.

Beginning in November of each year, player will be able to participate in physical conditioning exercises that will help the player be ready physically by the start of the season. While attendance is not mandatory, the players physical ability will be assessed during tryouts and will have an impact on team placement. All participants must have all RankOne documents submitted and approved prior to participation. Conditioning will typically be 3 days a week and last about 1.5 hours each day after school.
What are 4 on 1s?
According to GHSA By-Laws (section 2.69) a Coach my only work with up to 4 players on sport specific things when out of season. I.e., from Aug 1st until the first day of tryouts, our High School coaches may only work with 4 girls at a time with sticks and other lacrosse specific equipment. Players will be able to schedule 30 min practice sessions via the Band app. For more information on this, contact Coach Guill Strougo (guill.strougo@cherokeek12.net).
